Emma is natural with her gentle voice guiding us through the forest and inviting us to explore our senses and notice what we may not normally see. Time began to slow down again and I was able to return to the present moment. Emma’s love of nature shines through and I found her to be the perfect guide for my first official forest Bathe.

The whole experience was wonderful and so relaxing. It isn’t easy for me to quiet my mind but I was able to do that during the forest bathing. I particularly loved the meditation at the end. I enjoyed the experience and will now apply what I have learned to my regular walks. I will try to not talk as much while I am out, so that I can fully immerse myself in the sensory experience. Seeing the new growth has made me want to come back to the woods in each of the seasons, and in successive years, to be more in tune with the rhythms of the natural world.

These sessions have had a really positive impact on my life. Each week focuses on a different aspect of mindfulness and a different meditation excercise.
I did a 5 week course of mindfulness with Emma, I had been suffering with anxiety, panic attacks and depression. The course was so helpful, It’s completely changed my life, I feel more in control over my thoughts and use the techniques daily, they are so simple, yet so effective and I couldn’t be more grateful. I found the whole course very interesting and I learnt a lot. This is just one of the things I learnt. I always thought because I had thoughts come into my mind in meditation I wasn’t doing it correctly or not getting it!! I have learnt over the past few weeks that this is normal and how not to focus on them but let them float in and out then before you know it no more thoughts just quiet and calm.
